Ege Yapı Beyoğlu
A courtyard mixed-use development on the historic Hasköy Wool Mill site, on the shore of the Golden Horn. Sales direction and team leadership.
At the current stage of my career I serve as sales director of Ege Yapı Beyoğlu, developed on the Golden Horn shore of Beyoğlu through a partnership between Ege Yapı and Dağbaşı Proje Yatırım.
A contemporary project on a historic site
The project rises on the site of the historic Hasköy Wool Mill, neighbouring the Rahmi M. Koç Museum. It is a mixed-use development that brings Istanbul’s cultural and historical fabric together with a contemporary understanding of living, distinguished by its courtyard architecture and its views over the Golden Horn.
Selling on a site like this is different from selling an ordinary residential project. The cultural value the location carries has to be converted into an accurate sales narrative — taking the phrase “historic fabric” out of the realm of slogan and explaining what it actually means in a resident’s daily life.
From selling to leading
In this role I combine more than twenty years of sales experience across different scales and segments with responsibility for leading a sales team and building a project’s sales strategy end to end.
Scope of responsibility:
- Designing the sales strategy
- Managing and leading the sales team
- Managing client relations
- Delivering project targets
A summary of where the career has arrived
Ege Yapı Beyoğlu is not simply a new project for me; it is a summary of where the career has arrived. The experience gathered across different locations, buyer profiles and project scales — from Taksim to Kandilli, from Kartal to Büyükçekmece and Çeşme — finds its counterpart today in this particular project carrying the historic fabric of the Golden Horn.
This period is also a stage in which I have moved beyond sales professionalism into the experience of leading a project and a team. Taking on the sales direction of a development in one of Istanbul’s most valuable and historically rich districts requires both converting the location’s cultural value into an accurate sales narrative and managing team leadership and sales organisation at the same time.
